National Young Farmers Week - Cookery Video

A fun cook-along video in support of National Young Farmers week
As a former NFYFC Chairman, I was delighted to be asked to become involved with #NationalYoungFarmersWeek supporting their #Homegrown campaign.
A recent competition encouraged YFC members to submit recipe suggestions that used British produce and were affordable too. The results were announced during National Young Farmers Week, and I was asked to prepare one of the finalists' dishes, which was creamy chicken, leek hot pot submitted by Norfolk YFC member Melanie Hawes.
I'm also hoping to interview the winner of the competition on my podcast The Countryside Kitchen Meets who submitted a Sausage Yorkshires and onion sauce recipe. I'm going to have a crack at that sometime soon using my own home-reared Gloucester Old Spot pork sausages.
